Chalamard estate
Overviewing Vergt, Chalamard estate streches out on 20 acres of meadows and woods. The main building is a Perigord traditional U-shape farm. The Southern body used to be the main housing, the Western body stables, vats and barns, and the Northern body a staff lodging area. The organizing of Chalamard estate has been thought in order to make available everyone's preferred activities. The main one certainly remains resting, Chalamard being a perfect place for it.
The swimming-pool [4 m X 10 m] has been set for young and olders pleasure. With its total incorporated cover, it meets all the legal security requirements. Next to the swimming-pool, a set of garden furniture with its BBQ. The old shed has been restored and reorganized in pool-house.
The pond, called Lac Rouge (Red Lake), has recently been cleaned and re-fished for the amateur doing a bit of fishing. Banks of the pond have been consolidated with stones for greater security. If you feel like biking around the various country and forests lanes, bikes are available on request.
